Catwoman Original art work by Tiina Birgitta Räisänen for sale!!!!

Check out this one of a kind, original art work of the Batman nemesis Catwoman by Brilliant Bella artist Tiina Birgitta Räisänen! Tiina is offering this work of original art for sale for only 40 British pounds! In this picture Tiina has her standing in a lushly detailed forest environment, like a black panther in it's natural habitat!

Here is a close up of this work. Check out the beautiful details of the branches and leaves on the trees!

Catwoman is one of the earlier and most popular of the Batman's rogues gallery! She first appeared way back in the spring of 1940 in the original Batman #1 comic book! Only she wasn't the costumed clad beauty we see today, but rather she was rather a simple cat burglar called the Cat minus mask and costume.
Catwoman and Batman are famous for having a romantically charged rivalry. In the late 80's she was featured in the hugely popular Batman - Year One story arch by the legendary Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli! In it they recreate the Catwoman origin. They make her a former prostitute/Dominatrix turned criminal. She is no longer stealing as a way to get rich quick but rather as a way out of her debilitating poverty and a way to bring justice to the corrupt rich which prey on the poor. A kind of modern day Robin Hood.
Afterward DC comics took advantage of her popularity and gave her her own series. It was a hit and lasted until issue #96 in 2001 when they rebooted her character again. Writer Ed Brubaker and artist Darwyn Cooke later joined by artist Cameron Stewart recreate Catwoman into a cyber-punk protector of Gotham's east end. This is the version that Tiina has illustrated here.
