The Brilliant Bella is a web comic about Bella, a super heroine, co-created by Thomas Morrison (writer) and Tiina Birgitta Räisänen (artist).
Bella has left her home in the Paradisaical land of Avalon to come to the 1939 American city of Middleton and taken the alias of police woman Donna De Angelo to not only fight criminals, mobsters, monsters and super villains, but also finds herself inadvertently fighting the social injustices that are prevalent against women in pre World War II America.

Just when you think it's safe to enjoy the great outdoors, evil scientists let their monsters out to capture unsuspecting young females! Sheesh!
